Do you take that extra step when you are getting ready to email your ezine? Or do you just hit the send button after you finish drafting it?

I subscribe to many fine online ezines and for the most part they look pretty professional when I receive my copy. There are some that could use some help in regards to format and spelling and that is what prompted me to put some thoughts together on the subject. I also thought that these tips might help some of you that might be considering publishing your own ezine.

Automating Your Online Sales Efforts!

If you have been on line for any period of time you probably have realized that marketing on line can be much more effective and inexpensive than the traditional regular mail or telephone recruiting. Your responses to inquiries can be almost instantaneous. In traditional marketing you placed advertisements or did mailings and then normally had to send out a response package to people interested in your offer or product. You had to pay for printing, envelopes and postage. This process took several days of mailing back and forth. Even if you responded to prospects by telephone, you had to connect right away or sometimes you played telephone tag.

With online marketing everything is almost instant. You can receive inquiries by email and respond within minutes. And it doesn’t cost you a cent in postage. And you are able to respond to anywhere in the world! You can send an advertisement out to a targeted list, let’s say through an online newsletter and see results in a matter of hours, even less. Free Advertising, Do You Use It?

A number of years ago I never used free advertising such as traffic exchanges and credit based safelists. But now, I use the exchanges and safelists all the time. Many successful entrepreneurs have used them and gotten good results. I have created a page here which lists some of the traffic exchanges that I use on a daily basis. It also list the safelists that I use.

While all of them are free, they do have upgrades, and some very reasonable one time offers for lifetime memberships. So if you can afford it, I recommend upgrading since you get many more mailing opportunities. Many of them allow you to send html mailings or text messages.

It is important to remember that you do not want to try to sell your offer in your ad. You need to write the ad to get them to your splash page, capture page or directly to your sales page and let that sell your offer. Since many of the people viewing your ad are doing it for credits and they will probably only see your ad for 15 to 20 seconds. So you want to grab their attention and get them to click through to your sales page.
